As facilitators we aim to share information (with a lot of respect) related to indigenous-aboriginal perspectives and alternatives, showing why Eurocentric definitions like feminism, socialism, communism, among others, can not explain the reality and “spirituality” of those who came from a history of genocide, slavery and co-option.
We also want to understand how modernity manifests itself in those contexts and we will address issues (hardly defined) like mestizaje as a long term eugenics colonial project, negro-phobia within indigenous communities, white appropriation of cosmologies by new age multinationals and academy, relation to land, global displacement, commodification of Ayahuasca, shamanism and Pachamama by hippies and hipsterism, etc.
We hope to invite different voices via internet video/voice calls in order to have a reciprocal and honest discussion with the people in resistance.
