PLEASE NOTE: THESE SESSIONS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
This session is part 1 of a series of 3 which aim to come to an understanding and practical approach to violence in our every day lives.
We aim to come up with workable definitions of violence, discuss where violence comes from and ask questions such as: What role does context play? Who decides what is violence? Is violence determined by intentions or implications? Using examples we will discuss who is involved with what means to what end?
By doing so we hope to get a picture of the connections between the different forms/manifestations of violence we experience in our everyday lives. For this session, we ask you to bring something that represents (a particular form of) violence to you.
